What sharon mcquade dislikes about Tapas10 Café:
After reading such glowing reviews our experience was very disappointing....very average offerings, a lukewarm starter (a small piece of whiting plus one prawn and one baby prawn) which we felt was overpriced and under-presented. Most surprising was the miniscule size of the mussels (none bigger than a 5c coin), and no finger-bowl to manage the creamy (over salty) sauce. While pleasant on the balcony, it was definite... The pork belly is exceptional! Lovely place for lunch with a view. Highly recommend. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $100–120

This was my third visit to the wonderful Tapas 10 restaurant for lunch. My four friends and I sat on the upstairs balcony enjoying the lovely view of part of the Sunshine Coast as we shared five different tasty tapas, all beautifully presented and each accompanied by a delicious sauce. We would have liked to have tried more from the extensive menu but they were very filling and none of us were able to contemplate the delicious sounding desserts either. The service was excellent with the owner offering to increase the size of some of our tapas so all of us could try each of our choices. He even made an extra carafe of lemon, lime and bitters for us due to the temporary unavailability of the usual large glasses he uses. We stayed for over 2 hours relaxing, chatting and enjoying the view and when it came to paying the bill, my friends were surprised at how reasonable it was. I'm looking forward to my next visit to Tapas 10 and so are the eight friends I've introduced to this excellent restaurant. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
