What User doesn't like about Thai Express:
The pad see ew was awful. Tasted like soy sauce in noodles. The vegetables of choice were like ends of other vegetables... Here is a picture of whatever they sold me.The general Tsao chicken was ok and the Thai tea was good. Peanut sauce was good too.. View all feedback.
All right. the personal is friendly. eating is pretty good. I didn't feel like I got good value for money because the portion size for meat and veg was quite small; most of the take-off box was filled with rice. something was wrong with the soda machine, because the root beer I got was not very good.
My man and I took lunch here to go yesterday. very clean modern inside. super friendly staff ensures that we understand the menu and seasoned. I have the basil frying with huh. very good could taste how fresh the ingredients were. the basil **** came through beautifully! only wished there were more huh in it. my man has the pad Thai knots with bark meat. he said it was the best pad thai he has been for years! we also shared the fried Veggie dumplings. they were good, but mainly filled with only broccoli. the prices are fair for the amount of food they get. we will definitely come back!
Clean, fast, but the pad thai was not good. very suppe. no seasoning and the huh tasted old.
Watch out, Thai food awesomeness ahead! Needed a quick dinner after a long day in the office. Had a craving for Pad Thai and saw Thai Express on the way to the hotel. Took a chance and decide to stop by. The staff were friendly and made a couple of recommendations. I went with the Pad Thai, spice lvl 4 out of 5. They cook it pretty much right in front of you which I thought was pretty cool. While I waited, I checked what other yelpers had to say. Looked like some mixed reviews and some issues with various delivery services. The food came out and looked great (forgot to take a picture). The portion was more than enough for a single person. In my opinion the taste was on point, with just the right of heat that I expected. To be honest, I would have eaten the whole plate, but I was completely full. I would have taken the rest back to the hotel, but was leaving the next day. This place is worth stopping by and trying it out. Even though it did not look like a traditional Thai restaurant, the food was excellent!
I ordered mild pad thai with tofu and my husband ordered spicy beef pad see ew. We did not taste of spiciness at all, specially on my husband's plate. The noodle that they used for pad see ew wasn't the normal egg noodle i eat at other restaurants. It was thicker than my pad thai noodle but it wasn't the regular one that you would find at thai restaurant. Noodles were sticked together in groups. He wasn't really happy with his. Mine was okay, except it was pretty saucy and salty because they just mixed everything including beansprout. So we figured the restaurant it self is pretty new, they are not traditional thai. They are more like fusion... and fast food version for thai food. Overall it wasn't too bad. But my husband and i would prefer to go actual traditional thai restaurant in the future.
