This hotel was excellent. The pool area was fantastic. The bunk beds in the room were separated from the other bed which gave the feel of additional privacy. Would definitely stay here againRooms: 5/5 View all feedback.
What Alicia McClure doesn't like about Holiday Inn Suites Maple Grove Nw Mpls-arbor Lks, An Ihg:
Terrible room. Mildew on the tub. Ants in bathroom. Old bandaids on the sides of pool and still there the next day. Along with earplugs. If you look in the light of deep pool and hot tub. So many things floating. So gross. Will not come back.Rooms: 1/5 View all feedback.
*IF YOU HAVE KIDS*Chlorine levels must be dangerously off because I couldn 't stop coughing just standing in the lobby during their overly long check in process. I 've also seen people here say they get chemical burns from the pool so I 'm not surprised I was coughing. This place is also a joke when it comes to customer service. They rented me a king size room that had bunks for some reason (don 't have kids). Put my things in the room, left for THREE hours to conduct business, and came back to cancel due to plans changing and not liking the room. They flat out refused to refund me or even give me a prorated discount return. The pear-shaped manager couldn 't even be bothered to come out from hiding behind the desk to look me in the eye.So now I 'm out $293 on a room that WASN 'T EVEN TOUCHED.I make more in a month than these hotel managers make in a year but it 's infuriating how little customer service exists here. The room was also cramped for being BRAND NEW and on their top floor. Can 't wait until they bulldoze this eye-sore of a hotel to make condos and these hotel managers have to go back to flipping burgers.*EDIT*Owner responds, guest satisfaction is our top priority and then does nothing to remedy anything I complained about and keeps my money lol What a bunch of mentally challenged crooks.
Very nice newly updated rooms and the pool is really nice. Kids had a good time. Only thing I would say is that it was disappointing to learn that the water slides are only open on the weekends. We were not the only family there that was disappointed to learn this at check in. Lots of places to eat nearby and close to the interstate.Rooms: 5/5
This has been one of the worst experiences for my self and family. I’ll first start with the booking and them trying to up sell their rooms. I was told I would need to book with at-least two day minimum for 265.00 a night for a standard king room. This is not a resort or 4 star/5 star hotel. The room was gross! Secondly my entire family was discriminated on while in the pool area. Staff is extremely rude with poor customer service. They have a security person guarding policing wrist bands. Which is awkward but okay. But after verifying my family had them on. My niece whose only 3 band came off. And we was asked to leave. Such a terrible experience for what was supposed to be a great family gathering. I would highly recommend anyone who’s considering staying there to not even bother. Overly priced for scum service!
We made reservations two weeks in advance to stay at the Maple Grove Holiday Inn for my granddaughter's birthday, and were called one day before to be told the waterpark would be closed for the annual cleaning. We booked our rooms through the hotel, NOT online, and were never informed of this even though it was scheduled. They did get us into another hotel in St. Cloud but this was only after about an hour of being on hold. It was very frustrating.
This hotel was outstanding. The pool area was wonderful. The bunk beds in the room were separated from the main bed, providing a nice sense of privacy. I would definitely stay here again. Rooms: 5/5
