I opted for the large fresada, which cost $9.50, with an additional 50 cents fee for using a card. Typically, these drinks range from $6 to $7, but this was the largest fresada I've ever had, and it was generously packed with the strawberry sorbet that I absolutely love. The drink was visually stunning, layered with strawberries and the sorbet, giving it a beautiful, tropical appearance. The only thing I wished for was a bit more chamoy in the drink. However, overall, it was delicious. You should definitely check this place out, as they also serve food alongside their delightful desserts if you ever feel like trying something other than sweets!

After we paid, we received our card back, but we weren't handed a receipt or asked if we needed one, which I didn't think much of at the time. Once we got home, I realized that my Tostilocos not only had the tamarind candy added, but it also completely lacked mango. Additionally, my boyfriend's tosticeviche had very little sauce, containing mostly just fruits and seafood. I decided to call the restaurant, which is something I don't usually do, but I was quite upset—especially considering our meal cost $30 plus a soda. The girl who answered explained that she wasn't sure why the server suggested adding mango since they didn't have any available. This really disappointed me. We live in Oakdale, so driving back to Manteca isn't practical for us. We went ahead and ate our food, and after adding the toppings we actually paid for, it turned out to be decent. I’m just really frustrated because it seems like the quality of this place has declined since I last visited. I definitely won't be returning, but I hope this experience was just a fluke and not a reflection of their usual service.
