I’d never before had Indian food; it’s delicious! He seems to have his own butter chicken recipe, so it tastes amazing. The owner is very courteous and makes great food. The prices are also fair, cheaper than campus restaurants, and Maharaja is accomodating when it comes to free sauces and such. However, if you order takeout, make sure to check your bag of food before leaving to see if all your food is there. It seem... View all feedback.
What Brett Creange doesn't like about Maharaja Indian:
Food is usually good quality. HOWEVER, I continually receive a mixed up order. Specifically, approximately half of the time my orders are missing items. To make matters worse, no one cares at all in that restaurant when you call. Not a drop of empathy. I highly recommend you pick up the food yourself and check the bag—not that I recommend anyone giving this place business though. Oh, and, sorry for those that used Ub... View all feedback.
Delicious! Generous portions! Delicious flavors and textures! I love this place.. Thank you. Please stay in business forever!
Pakora was okay. Tamarind ? Chutney was oddly watery and void of flavor. Malai kofta was good but something had a slight bitter flavor
Great food love it. Restaurant is more of a take out facility. Looks like the business plan change with Covid. But the owner knows his cooking great goat and lamb dishes. Samosas are to die for!!!
I'm sorry, I don't want to be mean, but the food just wasn't very good. Ordered 6 different dishes and they were not great; watery, oddly seasoned, not fresh, likely previously frozen vegetables. The place has a lot of good reviews, but I'm not sure how.
My friend and I stopped in for dinner one night and the restaurant was basically empty when we arrived, not busy at all. We were not given menus so we grabbed some of the takeout menus to look at and sat down. Multiple tables came in after us and were seated and given menus and silverware, and then allowed to order, eat, and leave while we got ignored. We tried multiple times to grab a waiter’s attention for almost an hour before giving up. Finally we stopped someone and asked why they wouldn’t take our order and he did, but then 20 minutes later asked if we were ready to order, we told him we already did and repeated our order and he left to go put the order in I guess. We got up to leave because we were starving at this point and upset that they never put our order in in the first place and when he noticed he chased after us a bit yelling something, I think because he just put our food order in. My friend is a POC and everyone else got served no problem, so I wonder if racism was a factor? Do yourself a favor and go to Kathmandu instead! Or just anywhere else
