I love how much it is like nothing changed from 1950. The menu has such a great variety and I had the fried chicken that was amazing. I personally loved the Fritten and Cole Slav. What Charles Rogers doesn't like about Joe's Snack:
Over-priced mediocrity.. not my cup of tea. Very small portions for the price, and the burger was terrible. You can get twice as much food for the same price at any other snackbar in the state, and I promise it will be exponetially better. They get 2 stars because the milkshakes are actually pretty good. A New England classic, this charming small-town snack bar offers unbeatable value and even better food. The hand-cut fries are absolutely phenomenal!
This place is a classic snack bar! The burger was great, and the shake was fantastic—definitely worth adding a dollar for an extra thick one. Perfect! Restrooms are available; just ask for the key.
My dad used to come here with his friends, and I can now understand why—it's delicious and reasonably priced.

My family has been here for years. The food is a nice snack bar food. The fries are delicious, like the chicken tits. We didn't have enough room for ice.
