This is the worst underground restaurant I've ever been to! Almost every time I visit, they never have what I'm looking for. They run out of everything and never seem to restock. I’ve noticed they are out of drinks—both fountain and bottled—as well as the ingredients needed to make their salads. I’ve had a decent customer service experience with a few staff members, but the one who always hides in the back on their phone is a mystery to me. I can’t understand how they still have a job. Their attitude is frustrating; if they don’t like their work, they should consider leaving. We could certainly do without their poor service, especially after waiting for 20 minutes!
The service is good when you actually get served. It's important not to blame the server, as the management clearly doesn't pay them enough to handle the workload effectively. As a result, you may encounter long lines or extended wait times while the staff takes their much-deserved breaks.
When it was finally my turn to place my order, I requested my bread to be toasted. The employee put it in the toaster, then walked to the back before returning to take it out. While she was making my sandwich, she kept stopping to check on a phone call that another employee, who was in the dining area, had received. She seemed more interested in that conversation than in my sandwich, frequently asking me questions about what I wanted on it. I got so distracted by her interruptions that I forgot to mention I wanted mayonnaise and mustard. By the time I got home and began eating, my sandwich was hard and dry from being in the toaster for too long. I won’t be returning again!
