My former colleagues and I are on the grounds for an ad in the Mannheim morning, where "small money" was spoken by a 4-course business dinner. Let's stay with the truth. I am constantly looking for new Greek restaurants that have not yet been rated in the Gastroguide. A colleague from the South Palatinate recently called me a solid Greek: It is spring 2017, we reserve three places for lunch via the homepage. Within a few moments we receive confirmation as well as a tip where we can park. First impression positive. As soon as we arrive at the Christmas claw, we introduce our car. From the outside it really looks like a small “flause”, but you come into the room, spray a warm color. The entrance still kept in white, stickers of Schlemmeratlas and Michelin already a first wink with fence that it could be more than Gyros and Bifteki here. We are kindly greeted and asked whether inside or outside. We decide to go outside and get the card. We look at the lake, my colleague is impressed. After that we look into the map, various white and red wines, especially from Italy, Spain, Portugal and Croatia. Many of these varieties are ancient Greek origin. The further view of the menu: impressive. The appetizers remind Malvasias' sister. Grilled oyster mushrooms, baby Calamaris, Pulpo Oktopus from the grill or the cheese puff “Saganaki” from the pan. But we are here because of the offered business dinners and decide to drink it should be a 0.5 yeast wheat everyone. As an appetizer we get a chicken soup, with noodle insert, vegetables and juicy chicken meat. Then followed a small green “seed”, consisting of carrots and leaf salad, under the leaf salad there were still soft cheese and radish. The smallest colleague at our table had opted for the chicken steak from the grill, chicken steak from the grill with roasted onions with spicy onions and pommes. The poultry meat with neat aromas, but juicy, the onions nicely crispy, the pommes of clean TK quality. The rider of our trio and my strength chose us for the due reason of calf and pig and calf with herbal butter and fries. When we explained that everything tasted excellent and we had to return to the office, another 3 well cooled Ouzo came. Since the driver had dispensed with the two Ouzo, the colleague and I came to 3 well cooled Ouzos each. The two mandatory yeasts for each "non-driver" we have recognized on our side with a wide grin at work in the afternoon. Small timeline: We have autumn 2018, my wife and I go on a free day along the Rhine (Neckarau Niederfeld district). A lighter feeling of hunger comes up, I think of the Erlbenis in the neighboring Spange. The same scheme. Mobile phone from, reservation via “worldwide web”. For the meat fan, unfortunately, only Moussaka, the Gyros and the Suflaki are out (once again in the evening freshly accessible to me as a hint that no frozen Brat Good comes to the grill. We both take the business lunch and get a poultry soup, with noodle insert, vegetables and juicy poultry as start. I think it was chicken. Then followed a green salad consisting of carrots and leaf salad, beside the leaf salad there were also radishes and a hidden herbal salad. Then both main foods came. My wife gave a happy smile, freshly grounded sailors she was delighted. Tentacle, half gripping arm, all freshly transformed into flour and burned out. There was rice and a homemade cocktail Taramas fish diving. My little thing was also enthusiastic about Moussaka, Moussaka the layers nicely fluffy, delicious sauce. I asked. This is mixed with minced meat, onion, garlic, chopped tomatoes, eggplants, eggs and parsley to a mass. Up again a creator of this sauce, am not a Moussaka expert, but has cost me very well. After dinner there was another ouzo in the house. The obligatory daily desserts were then served sweet carrots. A kind of Greek yogurt with inlaid sweet carrots. Was not so mine now, I am a fan of carrot from pipe and Greek yogurt from cream, so also creamy consistency. Conclusion: For the 4-course lunch “Kalb und Schwein” we paid 9,90, the colleague with swollen onions 7,90. The 4-course lunch of my wife cost 8.90, my Moussaka lunch 6.90. For price performance 5 stars. The next time we come to our Christmas dinner on the first Christmas holiday in 2018 (no business dinner with the mother-in-law in spe). In the runway “easypiesy” reserved via the homepage within a few moments we received the confirmation, as well as a tip where we can park ....; recommendation!
