Opus V - Mannheim

I had dinner with my wife coming with I must admit very high expectations. we had dinner last night in a star restaurant, never two stars. we felt that eating was very well cooked, without doubt, not spectacular but. the service of 3 of 4 people was very pleasant, 1 person delivered as if it was forced to be there. especially disappointing we are weeping, which we have received during the meal (soaking instructions). if they ask as a restaurant near 150 euro for the pairing wines, they must deliver something special. it was beautiful, but far away from great. if this had been a 1 star restaurant with better trips, from customer perspective, I would have gone far more satisfied. now I feel that the price is far too high for what we have

Innovative dishes and wonderful environment. modern interieur and good service.

That is by far the best restaurant I've ever been. eating was amazing and the atmosphere was the next level. I'm coming back! I have to imagine that!

Fine eating best. especially note: my daughter (15/11) came with me at short notice. the service has solved the perfectly. the kitchen has earned its 2 stars anyway.

Absolutely brilliant! Great service and teamwork, knowledgeable and engaging Sommelier, and divine 5 courses. The entire team harmonized seamlessly and made sure every need was met with perfect timing. I'm already looking forward to going back when their new menu comes out.
