The offer should be removed from Y... read more The restaurant did not honor the Yelp check-in for a free beer or wine, and the employee, possibly the owner, rudely refused. The offer should be removed from Yelp. In terms of quality and quantity, if you enjoy deep-fried foods and beer, this is the place for you. The family box for $82 included 3 pieces of fish, 4 prawns, 8 calamari rings, 4 oysters, chips, potato cakes, and more. Everything was fried well and lightly breaded. They provided two homemade sauces, though the sweet chili sauce tasted store-bought. The atmosphere was a bit difficult to find in an alley, with outdoor seating and open 7 days a week from noon till 8 pm. Service was counter service, but a helpful waiter checked on us and attended to our needs. The price of $82 AUD for 5 people was considered good value, especially for light eaters. The owner should update or delete the Yelp check-in offer and congratulations on the success of their multiple locations.

Fish was great but unfortu... read more This place served up a great family platter consisting of calamari, a plethora of fries, prawns, white fish and other assorted items. Fish was great but unfortunately the prawns were not the best, they were extremely hard to peel they were either cooked to long or just not fresh because the shells did not want to come off like a fresh prawn would do so. Soft shells are never what you want! Small place so plan to be sitting outside with a group.

After a morning of hiking in from the Spit, I was craving something simple and local for lunch. I came across this restaurant on Yelp and patiently waited for them to open, enjoying a coffee on a nearby bench in the beautiful weather. As soon as they opened, I was their first customer of the day. Their menu was extensive, but I decided to go with the tacos, and I ordered two. These tacos were exceptional. Not only were they large, but the toppings were bursting with flavors and textures that perfectly complemented the fresh and perfectly fried fish on each taco. They were so filling that one would have been enough, but I happily devoured two. Overall, a great spot with friendly service.

Coming from northern California coast line area where we have excellent fresh fish tacos and fish and chips.....this is right up there....if not better.
