I will admit I would never pick tempura battered food but my husband loves it. Because I love him I agree to go to Fishmongers. I had the best calamari I've ever eaten. The vegetables were so fresh and flavorful. We had grilled local fish with chips and calamari with vegetables. So, I highly recommend this restaurant, tempura lover or not. View all feedback.

This place served up a great family platter consisting of calamari, a plethora of fries, prawns, white fish and other assorted items. Fish was great but unfortunately the prawns were not the best, they were extremely hard to peel they were either cooked to long or just not fresh because the shells did not want to come off like a fresh prawn would do so. Grilled Dory and hand cut chips makes a perfect gluten free meal that was delicious. Hard to find a fish and chip place that has gluten free chips. This place is the one! My husband had the fried salt and pepper calamari and it was one of the best he has ever had. So tasty and just melted in your mouth. Salads are different but nice. Will be visiting this place more often know that we have found it!
Amazing grilled Barra, and the calamari is sensational! Not to mention dedication to customer service. I can't recommend it enough, and I can't wait to eat here again!
