Although the atmosphere and decor was nice, the food was a huge disappointment. Steak was decently made, but sides like mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy and asparagus were atrociously done for a restaurant of this price. The food was a sugary mess. The sprouts and cheese curds were overly sweet, but overall, the meal just didn't hit the mark. The steaks were tough and disappointing. To make matters worse, I always order Hendrick's gin gimlets and usually never get headaches, but the light pour of Hendrick's from this bar felt like it wasn't the real thing. That's a fact. For two dinners, our tab came to $157, which is ridiculous considering the quality. The place was nearly empty, and they even asked if we had reservations—they could easily operate with half the space.
I absolutely loved the pescatore pasta I had on my birthday, so I was really excited to enjoy it again. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed this time; it was extremely dry and there were only about 10 noodles in the dish. I won't be ordering it again.
Love this place!!! Everything is great! I love the steak, made from scratch sides, and they have a great wine list!
Amazing food would come again ?
Really lovely brunch today we chose excellent classics: eggs bene egg bacon breakfast, but some very interesting plays on other morning classics were on offer worth trying another day. Good presentation, well seasoned etc. But on a near perfect spring day the outdoor tables were empty seemed gritty, the interior dim and COLD and unwelcoming. Service was scattershot, but friendly.
