They were out of fries, so I went with the mac and cheese instead, but it had a strange metallic flavor. With a new Slim Chickens just down the street, I definitely recommend they improve their quality.

The chicken and coleslaw lack the richness they once had and seem to have fewer ingredients. I have always loved this place, but it feels like it has lost some of its charm over time!

The drumstick was only about 3 inches long, and the thigh was equally tiny.

On two occasions, she walked away while I was st... read more The young woman who took my order appeared to be irritated by my presence, as if I was a disruption to her day. On two occasions, she walked away while I was still talking to her, even though the restaurant wasn't busy at all. One of the chicken breasts I received was dry, while the other was undercooked and still pink, which left me concerned about food safety. Since there's no KFC where I live, I had really been looking forward to this visit, but I think I’ll choose a different place to eat next time I’m in town.
