As we entered, some friendly customers held the door open for us whil... read more I went to Van's for lunch with my 82-year-old mother, and it was her choice of restaurant. As we entered, some friendly customers held the door open for us while I pushed my mother's wheelchair. The food was amazing, and we had a fantastic time. When we got up from our table, the bartender even came out from behind the bar to hold the door for us! I was truly impressed! I currently live in Oshkosh, but if I'm ever in Manitowoc again, I will definitely return to Van's. Five stars don’t do it justice; I would give Van's 20 stars if I could!

It finds the perfect blend between a laid-back hangout and an energetic vibe, making it ideal for catching up with friends or simply relaxing. It’s the kind of place you’d want to visit regularly. In short, Van’s Bar is the real deal. With excellent service, tasty food (especially the wings), and a lively atmosphere, it’s definitely a spot you won’t regret visiting. Every appetizer I've tried has been excellent, and when the popcorn machine is in action, the popcorn is some of the best I've ever tasted. The fish fry on Fridays is definitely a must-try, and I highly recommend opting for the bluegill basket!
