The service is exemplary and the food is to die for! I’m not usually known for clearing my plate but this place made that easy. Serving breakfast all day anytime of the day. If you’re ever in the Manitowoc area, you have to come here. I’m from central Texas but this small little family eatery is somewhere I’ll have to come back to! I had... read more We ordered quite a bit of food, and our total was only $40, which felt like a steal. The food was also incredible, so kudos to the kitchen staff that day. I had the country fried steak and eggs, which was delicious, and my girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed her western omelette. I also tried a half order of biscuits and gravy—while it was good, I have to admit I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to B&G, having been spoiled by the southern version as a kid. We typically dine at the restaurant next door that starts with a 'P,' but we decided to give this place a shot, and I'm so glad we did. Looking at the few negative reviews out there, it seems they all came from a specific time frame. Whatever changes Fork and Knife has made, they definitely worked!
