Probably the best place to go in the area for a relaxed and nice atmosphere and some amazing food and drinks during the daytime. I will definitely return next summer! We got beds for the day and booked lunch. The overall style and little details of this place is very stylish and relaxing. The passion fruit mojito and the grilled prawns were both delicious. Can be a pricey day out but great if you just want a really nice day and to treat yourself. Only criticism I would have this that the staff didn’t seem overly friendly or attentive particularly by the beds area, despite reading reviews that staff are normally really attentive with drinks, ordering etc! Had to wait an hour and then get up to ask to order a drink and we received our complimentary water last despite being first on the beach. But these slip ups might be very uncommon normally as I’ve seen positive reviews about attentiveness. But overall a lovely day and atmosphere. Thanks Amaka beach!

Far from the crowds around Duquesa port on an unspoiled beach you 'll find this little gem of a chiringuito. Also known as 'Chiringuito Meson Montes ' Its not much to look at from the outside, you park on the sand right in front. The tables are simple but there 's a warm welcome inside from Juan and his staff. At lunchtime I was with a group of 7 and we ordered a mixture of fish grilled around hot coals on the barbecue which is actually an old fishing boat. The fish, caught by local fishermen is arranged around the edges on metal skewers and it tasted delicious. I visited this restaurant quite a few times with friends and on each occasion was never disappointed. As well as great fresh fish there 's a range of meat dishes including slow cooked lamb (Juan needs 3 hours notice for this) this is a superb dish cooked with herbs and potatoes the meat simply falls off the bone. Sitting with a cold beer on the terrace after work looking out to sea as the sun goes down is one of my warmest memories of my time in Manilva.
