After waiting for over half an hour from the time of ordering we asked why the dish was taking so long to arrive but were offered no explanation or apology. Had we been offered either we would have accepted the delay. After half an hour we decided to leave. We told the proprietor the reason and she said that the dishes were prepared al momento but this is something I take for granted and not a reason for such a long wait. She then said that if we were in a hurry we should have told them. We were not in a hurry. We left because they were slow and gave no explanation. I went to this restaurant with the aim of recommending good restaurants to British tourists heading to Puglia: Unfortunately I will not be able to include Seashell in my recommendations.

Every detail and request was taken care of and met beyond my expectations, and I couldn't have made a better choice. The fish was fresh, and every dish was a delight both to the eye and the palate. The staff was kind and helpful, especially Letizia, who was with me from the beginning, advising me on all my choices. I recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly. We'll definitely be back.
