In fact, I used to visit this restaurant everytime I visits Kandagara (a village nearby to Mandvi). Must try things: Veg. Hot and Sour soup Any Paneer Starters, all are Good. I almost tried Sizzler on the menu and every next one I tried is better than previous. In short they all are Must Try items. Simply Go for It. When it comes to curries, you can opt for any Paneer gravy, they all Tastes Fine I'd tried Dal Fry and Dal Tadka. Dal Tadka with Jeera Rice here are satisfying and end your meal with Buttermilk Masala (ask for the buttermilk that comes with Pudina, Ginger, Coriander)

I would recommend to check this place out. P.S. The russian salad is something you must avoid having.

The place is situated right by the main mandvi-bhuj road and above (1st floor) Jalaram restaurant. We arrived here at around 9:30pm chose as alternate to Jalara... read more The place is situated right by the main mandvi-bhuj road and above (1st floor) Jalaram restaurant. We arrived here at around 9:30pm chose as alternate to Jalaram which had almost 30mins waiting at that time. And this was indeed a good choice as this place was also beaming with diners. The staff is courteous and quick to accomodate. Overall ambience of the place is average though, they need to work on their air conditioning as the place was stuffy while full with people. It has a sitting capacity of almost 50 people at once. Coming to food, it has good variety in terms of traditional Gujarati, kathiyavadi, North Indian Punjabi and indo-chinese dishes. The food wait time a bit longer but I was told they prepare everything fresh. We order a paneer shashlik sizzler, 1 paneer preparation, sev-tamater sabji, and garlic naan/tandoori rotis. Sizzler was tasty with ample quantity to be shared among 3-4 adults. Paneer preparation was good, Sev-tamater was disappointing as it had a sweet flavor. Was told that in kathiyavadi, sev-tamater is cooked on sweeter side, but you need to specify while ordering if you need it spicy and without sweet. Naans were perfect and of good proportions. We had chaach for drinks and regular water which was served cold, Bravo. Overall it's a good place to have dinner with family/friends with reasonable prices. Staff was attentive and served well. Please improve upon your air conditioning and air flow systems.
