When i met... read more I was here with my family and best friends of my parents. We reached at 6.15 pm as we wanted to have early dinner. We were asked to go to reception! When i met there a guy who was so irresponsible and rude, asked me to pay 1500 Rs. Per person if we want to go inside. It was surprising, i asked them we are here for dinner and we will order ala carte so why you need this cover charge? He said cover charge was for pool and i told him we are not hear for pool.But he was so rude and never listened to anything. Then i asked him to send his person to check on us if we are using pool! He sent his person and then after 15 mins we went inside. At the restaurant nothing was ready. Dinner was about to start from 7. There also staff pushed us to go for buffet. We told them we will prefer ala carte, the guy said it will take 40 mins!! What you will say!!??? There were couple of good person who were ready to help! Overall it was worst experience ever! 2 stars are just for property. I hope management do something about this!

There was no one to greet us when we arrived at 2 pm... read more We didn't stay at Serena Resort but we did go for the Dunes Restaurant which has a sea facing dining room. There was no one to greet us when we arrived at 2 pm so we weren't sure it was open. However, there were 2 couples seated so we ventured in. We got seated promptly and were given an Indian and Western menu. We decided to split a vegetarian pizza and roasted potato appetizer with 2 cold Coke cans. We had asked for no olives on the pizza but the chef apparently didn't read the order. We were so hungry we decided not to complain. The server saw us taking the olives off and apologized immediately- he also brought 2 scoops of saffron pistachio ice cream for each of us on the house to make up for the mistake.Bathrooms here were downstairs and outside but had all the requisites for a traveler- toilets, toilet paper, soap, paper towels and was clean to boot!While the resort is clean, well-kept, and modern, the area around is still very much a village surrounding and they do things old style, like transporting wood on their heads!

Pathetic food and pathetic staff..as we entered the resort the guy at the reception told us we do not serve ala carte on Sunday you will have to take buffet..we... read more Pathetic food and pathetic staff..as we entered the resort the guy at the reception told us we do not serve ala carte on Sunday you will have to take buffet..we said ok..and we asked for buffet at the restaurant and later we came to know that they are also serving ala carte...when we asked the guy at the desk he said “it all depends on crowed”.. if they don’t serve ala carte on sunday then how it depends on crowed...and food they serve in buffet was pathetic...soup spicy,starter soggy,have to wait 20 mins for sabji that tasted like a sambar...it was a total waste of money.... pls do not visit her for food...and staff only don’t know they are serving ala carta or not

The memorial is open to all visitors 6 days a week from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. and on Sat/Sun 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. The memorial will be closed on all Thursdays.

The area is clean and well-maintained, and the g... read more This memorial is truly wonderful. It accurately represents and gives equal recognition to all freedom fighters. The area is clean and well-maintained, and the guide does a perfect job. The library contains books about various freedom fighters, and the parking facility is also good.
