My husband raved about the pork belly, stating it was amazing and came in a generous portion. The squid ink pasta was also delightful! We topped off our meal with a triple chocolate brownie, which was absolutely scrumptious. The view was beautiful, and the atmosphere was clean and relaxing. The staff were friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be returning.

The only area for improvement is the staff's familiarity with the menu; they are quite young and unable to provide much insight about the dishes before you place your order.

The planning process was smooth, and the staff responded quickly to our needs. The team was fantastic throughout the night, always available when we needed assistance. If you arrive by foot: the facade facing the water says only “Restaurant” in big illuminated red letters from the side road facing the roundabout it says “The Pen” 2. Don’t be dismayed if the on line booking system says that there are no tables we experienced that but went in anyway and had no issues getting a table for four Vegan friendly! I had the vegan pizza with veggies and pineapple with non dairy cheese, which tasted great with a big glass of red wine Remember to ask for dry chilli flakes if you are into a more spicy pizza The service team there is outstanding, the food came out quickly and they are using Jack Bauer earbud communications to coordinate everything. Everyone on the staff is friendly and helpful. Lots of nearby parking, nice views of the water, tasty food, good service: what more do you want??
