Very informal, but the food is great. Excellent value for money.

Ideal location for us, which allows you to visit beautiful villages full of history, such as Pitigliano Sovana, Sorano and last but not least, Rocchette di Fazio. Terme di Saturnia at 15 minutes, Argentario and all that follows at 45 minutes (we recommend a Feniglia bike tour from Ansedonia via Obetello and back) We spent almost 6 days different. Excellent advice from the owners about what the Maremma can offer both in terms of tourism and food and wine. Comfortable rooms with special attention to cleaning and bed linen change. Finally the fish iotto: you eat delicious grilled meat and drink even better! The quality of the wines produced on the farm is excellent. Fabio and Ombretta Iacozzilli 's Fattoria dell 'Orsa Maggiore farmhouse is one of the places where you can breathe freedom, with a view stretching over the hills of Alta Maremma to Monte Amiata. Here you can find yourself in the land of Etruscan, very close to Pitigliano, Sorano, Sovana, Saturnia, Montemarano, Scansano, all charming places for history, culture, architectural beauties, museums, traditional gastronomy and you can easily reach Orbetello, Argentario, Uccellina Park and the sea. This farmhouse is neat, has excellent rooms, served a very comfortable breakfast, has also produced a restaurant, Il Fischiotto, with Maremma specialties and wines on the farm, Fabio and Ombretta are people of great culture, true affility and serious hospitality, always ready to satisfy the wishes of their customers. It is therefore a place I highly recommend because it feels good there because it is in the center of the hilly Maremma, between rows of vines, olive groves, forests and because you recharge your batteries before you return to work. .
