I've been holidaying in nearby Castiglione della Pescaia for almost 20 years and always liked this place, great food and friendly owners, I've eaten here many t... read more I've been holidaying in nearby Castiglione della Pescaia for almost 20 years and always liked this place, great food and friendly owners, I've eaten here many times and had nothing but good things to say about it until tonight, we arrived to a practically empty restaurant at 8pm to be told by a young waitress that they were completely booked out and pointed to a narrow shelf where we could eat facing the wall with a take it or leave it attitude, we didn't. In all the times I've eaten there I've never seen it that busy. In fact we've made a point of going there on a Friday or Saturday night in the hope of a better buzz but it still wasn't overly busy. I find it hard to accept that the restaurant was going to fill up over the next hour this evening. Whatever their issue is I won't be giving them my custom again.

We'll be back!
