Contribute FeedbackDespite high hopes and a reservation, a party was let down by lack of menu options, long wait times, and chilly conditions. Unsatisfactory dishes ranging from dry roast beef to overcooked steak left a poor impression. Though desserts were sold out, ice cream was available to partially salvage the experience. A voucher holder was also disappointed by underwhelming steak, chips, and pie. However, lunch starters were of good quality. On a positive note, Christmas Day dining impressed guests with perfect portions and service. A recent visitor was pleased with the attentive staff and delicious food selection. Other reviews praised the accommodating service, tasty sandwiches, vegan options, and fresh dishes of the venue.
This restaurant is always a fantastic choice. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is lively and enjoyable, but it's the exceptional service that really sets this place apart. The staff is incredible, with Sam in particular standing out during our visit. I would return here just to be served by her again. It's the people that truly make places like this shine, and Sam exemplifies what excellent service should be. Thank you, Sam!

Went for a Sunday roast. Absolutely delicious! Amazing service
The staff couldn't have been more accommodating of our needs it meant that everything ran like clockwork from the moment we arrived. We were a big party and used their upstairs room, which they staffed with a bar. All our food arrived on time and because we ordered ahead of time there were no hitches.
Great pub, food (especially starter bread and hake main course) was excellent. Not the cheapest but well worth it and enjoyed outside.
