What Arthur Lee likes about Umezushi:
The best sushi in town! Had their sushi platter which was amazing! It was really busy hence service was slow but Matthew was quick thinking and brought me a bowl of Edamame for free! Dessert was light yet still manages to pack a punch with the umeshu marinated grilled pineapple. Highly recommended. View all feedback. What Brandy Bogan doesn't like about Umezushi:

read moreUmezushi, hidden among the arches near the MEN/Victoria station, offers a beautiful blockhouse of a restaurant that is a great alternative to the typical Spanish and Italian eateries in the city. With friendly and knowledgeable servers, the restaurant excels in delivering excellent Japanese seafood dishes such as sashimi and sushi. The menu is extensive, offering a variety of options including daily specialties. The venue may be small and intimate, but it provides a cozy Japanese atmosphere where patrons can witness the raw fish selection and cooking process. The food is not only delicious but also beautifully presented, with highlights such as the Smoked Eel (unagi) and the Prawn nigiri. The service is professional and informative, enhancing the overall dining experience. While prices may not be cheap, the quality of the food justifies it. Whether feasting on a sushi platter, enjoying sashimi, or trying out the daily specials, Umezushi is definitely recommended for sushi aficionados looking for an exceptional culinary experience in Manchester.
