What SamS741 doesn't like about The Stage Door:
We had dinner before the show at this restaurant. The menu was limited and not very exciting. The decor and atmosphere were nice, and the waitresses were attentive. The food was okay, nothing exceptional, but it was a bistro after all so you get what you pay for. There were times when it seemed like there were a lot of staff just standing around not doing much, but maybe it's part of their plan. Next time, we'll prob... View all feedback.
We just had a drink here before the performance.....nice friendly atmosphere
Having tickets for an evening show we looked to take a pre show meal and approached The Stage Door only to be told that due to a matinee performance there was no food available when we arrive which was 5pm show started at 7:30 pm. Very poor planning.
Being disabled the staff were very helpful enabling me to be able to get into the restaurant. Service was excellent and we all enjoyed the meal. Definitely book again when going to a show
The food was lovely. The wait was horrendous. 40 minutes for soup starter , then another 30 minutes for mains. As this was a pre theatre meal , what was a birthday treat became very stressful as the show was soon to start. Couldn’t have a sweet as we had to rush out of restaurant for show. Such a shame as the food was good.
Food was good and reasonably priced. The surroundings were lovely and the staff were attentive. We ordered two courses each and didn't have long to wait. Also drinks were half price at the time we visited.
