Lovely proper bar , shame no food on was starving . friendly staff and good range of drinks . Just stayed for one going to a show and needed some food
Having been in the pub before and enjoyed the experience, I was extremely disappointed this time. The guy behind the bar looked far from happy and we left after one drink
100% recommend for the staff alone. Bar staff were exceedingly friendly and imparted a load of local knowledge to me, a first time solo visitor to Manchester. The second day I visited, I was in a bad situation and the owner helped me out tremendously (without me asking). I can't possibly thank her enough. Will defo be back next time I visit.
It's in a great location and has a great atmosphere! There is a bar on the ground floor and a smaller one up on the first floor. You can book the top room for events etc. Last time I visited. There was a dog. Nice.
Over £26 for 4 glasses of wine, not feeling it!
