We made a reservation for 4 adults and 1 child at 4:30pm. When we ordered drinks, we were informed that there would be a 45-minute wait for our food. Since our 3-year-old would have had a meltdown waiting, her food was made a priority while the adults had to wait. The price per person was between £10-20. The food was rated a 5 out of 5, the service a 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 3 out of 5. View all feedback.
What Shirley Weatherburn doesn't like about The Morning Star:
As a treat we went to The Morning Star for a meal and a drink. I can honestly say that the Vegan curry we ate was delicious and couldn 't fault it. I had a wonderful time at this charming pub where I played darts. The hosts were delightful and the atmosphere was very friendly. It's so close to where I live, I might just make it my regular spot. It's rare to find community pubs like this one nowadays. With 30 years of experience working in pubs, I truly appreciated the warm and lively vibe. I would rate the service and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5.

I can't say enough about how enjoyable my dining experience was at this fantastic pub chain. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and efficient, just as I have come to expect. I only wish they would open some locations on The Wirral! Overall, I give the food a 5, service a 5, and atmosphere a 4.
