We have been regular patrons of this restaurant for many years and the service and food have always been good. However, during our most recent visit, the takeaway sides were fine as usual but the chicken garlic balti was disappointing. It was watery and tasteless, resembling more of a thin soup than a flavorful dish. The other main course was okay, but the promised spicy sauce turned out to be mild. Despite this, the chicken itself was enjoyable.
We visited this restaurant for the first time in years and weren't sure what to expect. We were aware that the restaurant had been renovated to a high standard and is now very modern and bright. The food was fantastic, with generous portions and completely authentic. The service was also excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely be returning.
In recent years, we have been frequent patrons of Sadagar restaurant. Once again, last Friday, the food was delicious, flavorful, and reasonably priced. This time, however, we were treated to a new addition to our Friday night experience - a talented young woman accompanied by a guitarist who provided delightful entertainment. Their performance of timeless classics was not only well-executed but also added a lovely touch to our evening. We rate the food 5 out of 5 and the entertainment 5 out of 5 as well.
