Contribute FeedbackRosylee Tearooms in Manchester offers a charming ambiance with outdoor seating ideal for enjoying a meal on a sunny day. However, some reviews mention long wait times for service and disappointing food quality, particularly with the afternoon tea options. Despite mixed reviews, the restaurant has received praise for delicious dishes like crispy goat's cheese bonbons and twice-cooked chips. The atmosphere is described as relaxed and enjoyable, making it a popular choice for casual dining. Overall, while there are some areas of improvement, Rosylee Tearooms has the potential to be a delightful dining experience for those looking for a laid-back meal in the Northern Quarter of Manchester.
Not recommended. faceted rosy lee tee room tonight for my daughter hen party very disappointing contest, previously booked for 18 people, it was 2 hours before we were served with our food and another half an hour before they were for a couple who forgot them. they ruined the evening that can never be repeated. I do not recommend this place
The food was faultless. Goat’s cheese bon bons lightly seasoned with black pepper and made moreish with lemon zest were perfectly bread crumbed, and the accompanying twice-cooked chips (forgive me, I’m northern) were fat, crisp and golden. It’s enough to tempt me back, and having read other decent reviews, will be returning soon. The iced tea cocktail was less successful, on account of a heavy hand with the sugar syrup, obliterating the exciting breakfast tea, rhubarb and lemon juice flavours promised, but the feedback was taken on board, which is always a good sign.
I’m normally drunk as a skunk when I walk past Rosylee Tea Rooms and too busy singing Busted songs to even noticed its existence but it was their early evening menu that eventually caught my eye
It's only been open for about six weeks, but I've seen nothing but good reviews for the Rosylee Tearooms. We went on Saturday for an early lunch. The sun was out on Stevenson Square and even Manchester was looking at its best for a change. It didn't even really feel like England, more like a European city Square, well almost . We sat outside, next to a large table of friendly and high spirited Dutch Manchester United fans, which added to the unreal nature of it. The sun was really shining on us, and everyone was in fine spirits. I didn't even mind when our neighbours started playing Michael Bolton on a little stereo. I had a look inside, they've done a great job, it's totally different...read more
