Lovely pub with the BEST pies in the world. My cheese and potato pie with cheese sauce was superb and my friend loved his steak and ale pie too. And really reasonable prices. Great environment especially in the sun! View all feedback.

We have been visiting the horse and jockey for years . Yesterday we went to he pub and ordered food . My husband had a. Pizza with hardly any toppings . I had a salad which was mainly lettuce and mint and a small portion which was 11.25 . Very poor value for money . It needs to revamp there menu and offer better value for money if they expect people to return for food . View all feedback.

Most tables pre laid for dining. Drinkers directed to sit outside even when tables are free! Not really a pub any longer.

The new menu is absolutely delicious, with a great selection of freshly made dishes offered daily. The table service at the restaurant was excellent, providing attentive and friendly service throughout the meal. The prices are fair and there is a good variety of drinks available. I will definitely be returning in the future.
Visited the horse and jockey tonight for a meal with my partner and was served by Mary. She was very friendly and attentive and the food was lovely will be back again!
