This was an unplanned find! We booked a room at Hilton as part of our journey south from Scotland to Southampton. We then booked the podium for dinner without really thinking about it or knowing what to expect. What an outstanding experience. Jonathan who served... View all feedback.
What harters doesn't like about Hilton:
It was 2011 when we last ate at Podium. It was a dismal evening. The restaurant was in a vast, soulless, open space, just off the hotel’s reception, with only a handful of diners. Service was indifferent. And the food missed the mark with every... View all feedback.
You get exactly what you’d expect from the perfectly located hotel in central Manchester. Ample parking available just across the road in the NCP.
Was in town attending one of the Liam Gallagher shows at CO-OP Live. The hotel was brilliant staff were very friendly when entering. Offered us a free upgrade upon entry and gave us a discount code for the NCP parking across the road. The hotel is within walking distance of the city centre. Rooms were nice and clean. Exactly what you’d expect from a Hilton!
Great place to stay. Views from cloud 23 breathtaking.
Very excellent, especially the last floor 23, excellent coffee. Excellent hotel and wonderful staff, Jerome and Emily were an example of welcome and I hope they continue this level of wonderful service. Amazing experience at the Hilton again. We got the King deluxe this time, which meant we were higher up on the 18th floor. The room was very spacious, with beautiful views of Manchester. We were happy to have a view from a different angle this time round so that we could see the other side of the city. The pool and jacuzzi were excellent, and we loved the fact that you could go without having to book a slot, as we have found in other hotels. The breakfast at the Podium was a buffet style with lots to choose from. They offered cold meats, cheeses, breads, and hot breakfasts, along with hot and cold beverages. I would recommend a visit to the cloud for a few cocktails, the views again are fantastic at night, when all the lights are lit up. Nice vibe and staff overall were very accomodating. Cant wait until we come back.My only negative to this hotel is each time i have been i have been told they do not have a room for families of 3 or more unless you book the presidential suite at £1000 plus a night, i find this extremely disppointing, that a hotel of this standard cannot offer a room to accomodate my husband and my daughter unless i book the presidential suite or pay for an additional room, which defeats the object of a family stay, especially when the Midland and the Edwardian do offer this.
