We arrived at Floripa and headed to the first floor for our reservation, only to be yelled at by the door staff to go back downstairs. Once at the bar, we informed them of our reservation on the first floor, but were told to return upstairs and left waiting for 30 minutes before anyone came to assist us. Since we were a group of 10, we had pre-ordered our food, but they seemed unaware of this and I had to show them a photo of the email I sent with our order. When the food finally arrived, the Pieto de Franco was overcooked, leaving the chicken extremely dry and tough—not worth the £15 charge. Additionally, the waitress was quite rude to my mother-in-law. Overall, we will not be returning.
The food was excellent, but having to go to the bar for drinks was somewhat frustrating. The atmosphere was very vibrant, but the noise level was quite high, making it difficult to eat and chat comfortably. I had reserved a table on the second floor for five people, and we struggled to have a conversation. I would recommend this place for a lively night out, but it's not ideal if you're looking for a quiet spot to sit and talk.
Absolutely exceptional! They offer a wide variety of delicious gluten-free dishes, and it's clear that someone has put thought into the gluten-free items since the burger bun was fantastic—finding good gluten-free bread can be quite a challenge. The service was excellent as well; the staff went above and beyond for us. Our server made sure everything was clearly marked as gluten-free, checked in to see if we were enjoying our meals, and was always close by for drink refills and other requests. We will definitely return!
