Wetherspoons - Manchester

For the first time in piccadilly somester great service eating was good, had steak cooked perfectly prices good value, recommend

Nice eating as usual. faster service than I went with the woman. love her a good trip to wetherspoons! also like the fact that they contain drinks with the meals!

Tried ordering curry and chips at the bar only to be told by the rudest bar ‘manager’ ever that I could not swap the rice it came with for chips. I told her that I’d done so in nearly every Wetherspoons in Lancashire, she said...they were all wrong to have done so and they should not have done that for me. She repeatedly told me e(even though I didn’t ask) that she was the manager presumably to add some gravitas to her lack of helpfulness. My daughter and I could not believe how rude and unhelpful she was. When asked by another supervisor how my meal was I told him about my experience with the ‘manager’. He informed me that changing rice for chips wasn’t an issue and she should have done so. His interaction certainly changed how I was feeling about things for the better. I am still grieved about the way we were treated by the ‘ lady manager’ and can’t believe she has risen in the ranks in a customer facing service industry. The eier benedict- came without rakete, eggs were over posing, hollandaise sauce was divided and the muffin was not even roasted. shan has not returned

Mixed grill the meat was very dry and tasteless, not the best chips I have ever eaten, the whole plate was simply ok, cheap in all departments.
