Diners were enjoying themselves, with people moving from table to table and a family in the corner playing cards—it was lively and cheerful. Our waitress was a lovely young woman who was eager to share her recommendations when I asked for suggestions. I chose the Lobster Hash appetizer and the Kalb Porterhouse for my main course, while my husband ordered the crab cocktail and the potato-crusted halibut. There were about 8 options for supplements, which we were happy to choose from. Our appetizers arrived and looked fantastic. I was delighted to see the generous portion of fresh jumbo lump crab meat in the cocktail—not a bad deal for $14. My lobster hash was delicious, beautifully presented, and incredibly fresh. Everything was off to a great start. When our entrees arrived, my Kalb Porterhouse was enormous. I ordered it medium, but it leaned more towards medium-rare; nonetheless, it was very tasty. My husband's halibut looked exquisite, topped with thinly sliced, scaled potatoes and drizzled with a zesty lime sauce. He loves seafood, and he remarked that it was excellent. Though we were too full to try every dessert, we wrapped up our meal with two delightful cappuccinos, and our waitress even brought us a fun rock candy stirrer for our drinks. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would definitely return to the Terrace on the Green in the future.
He mentioned a special on martinis, just 10 cents at the bar, so we decided to sit there despite it being quite busy in a small space. I ordered an apple martini, and my husband opted for a dirty goose martini. We both thoroughly enjoyed our drinks, and when the bill came, it was a mere 21 cents! We were then escorted to our table, which offered a lovely view of the golf course. The restaurant itself isn’t too large and was about half full. The atmosphere struck a balance between upscale and relaxed, with patrons mingling between tables; a family in the corner was playing cards, and the overall vibe was lively and cheerful.
