Even though they have the right ingredients there is simply no chef there. I was so excited about getting an angus beef ribeye, but once on my plate it looked like its been cooking all day in the swimmi,ng pool. My wife's prawns llok awsome, nice end big, but smelled like ammonia. We had to change bottles of wine 3 times before getting one that wasn't corky. And to finish the icecream was freezer burnt, probaly melte... View all feedback.

Bedsheets were dirty. Swimming pool was dirty. The food was ok. The staff were ok. The van that brought us to the airport was old and about to break apart. Overall it was about ok. You get what you pay for ,I guess.
It is a wonderful experience will definitely would go back. Highly recommended. Food is good too.

Cafe Cecilia in the Bahay Bakasyunan resort looks very nice. But eating there I cannot recommend. We ordered a bottle of red wine. The taste was awful (cork taint). I refused the bottle. The server did not bring us another one. After talking to the manager, we got another bottle but were asked to surely pay for it. The wine was at least 28°C warm. The food is Filipino style. You may like it or not. But even if you like Filipino food, we rather recommend to taste the kitchen of Pedro's in Old Parola in Mambajao.
