To start, they serve delicious salsa and chips, along with small bowls so you can pour your own salsa if you'd rather not share. The salsa is amazing, with just the right amount of subtle spice—slightly spicy for some, but absolutely tasty. Their cheese dip is excellent as well; it's a white queso that's smooth and not overly thick. The guacamole is fantastic too. I ordered the California burrito, and it was just per... What Janice Dodson doesn't like about Cantina Cinco De Mayo:
On the positive side, the interior decor is pleasant and creates a nice atmosphere, which is one of the few advantages of dining here. As for the food, it was just average. I ordered a California burrito, but it felt more like a veggie burrito, mostly filled with lettuce and other fillers. The bits of asada in it were decent, but the rice and beans were quite good. The combination of spices and sauce with the rice was delightful. I’m eagerly waiting for the bar area to open up because once it does, finding a seat here will be a challenge. I've dined here twice now and can confidently say it’s some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever enjoyed. I can't wait to come back!
On opening day, everything was fantastic—both the food and the service. The salsa had a nice kick, and the guacamole was excellent! The rice and beans were both delicious as well. The milanesa was wonderful, and my friend enjoyed a shrimp dish that was great too. In my 71 years, I've tried Mexican food from California to Texas and all across Arkansas, and this is hands down the best Mexican food I've ever had in Arkansas. No question about it. Now, I'm going to call and order takeout for my son and grandson.

Overall, I would rank their burritos as the third or fourth best in Malvern.
