In the end we were served food ordered by a different table. The waiter decided to substitute an veg dish with an non veg dish on his own. Avoid if you are looking for a incident free relaxed evening.

The location is right by... read more I visited this property for the second time in three years and the staff was extremely helpful in suggesting a cottage for me to book. The location is right by the beach and the restaurant offers delicious coastal food and refreshing mocktails, as well as chilled beer. Just be mindful that the restaurant and bar close at 10:00pm. If you're not ready to call it a night, you can head to the Paradise Isle Beach Resort next door. My favorite time of the day was always the morning. Waking up to the sound of waves and the sight of a pristine beach being cleaned by the authorities was a perfect start to the day. Don't waste any time indoors - freshen up and start walking. Your morning will be one to remember.

Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with the food, whether it was the Roti or the curries, not to mention the poor hygiene standards. The only redeeming quality was the polite and helpful staff.

I was looking out for a good Sea Food Hotel to savour the famous fish fry and fish curry with rice. Malpe has Paradise Resort, where the food pricing is a bit expensive and mainly caters to foreign guests. Upon inquiry, I was recommended to a small, quaint, little hotel by the name MALPE HOTEL, which is just next to Malpe Police Station and near Vadabhandeshwara Bus Stop. Do not expect anything fancy, stylish or any ambience for a sit down lunch dinner. There are 5 tables and chairs to accommodate about 10 Guests outside and inside the hotel, there is table space for about 03 04 tables and chairs. The Owner personally and his Staff look after the immaculate service. They lay the plaintain leaf on which they serve Boiled Rice (Coastal speciality unlimited and they pour fish curry on it. The Owner then brings the steel tray consisting varieties of fish fry and asks the Guest to pick their choice !!! Malpe Hotel serves value for money fish curry fish fry rice. A meal for 2 costs around Rs.200 . Variety of fishes include Seer Fish (Anjal or otherwise called as King Mackerel, Surmai , Mackerel (Bangda , Salmon (Rawas etc. Fish Curry and Fish Fry was good and filling. Fish Lovers may try this small road side joint in Malpe without any major expectations.
