But when I visited (ar... read more Lovely exterior and the water feature at the entrance is so enchanting. The woman who worked there was so friendly and the food was nice. But when I visited (around 11am) the food menu consisted of: avocado and hummus toast, wrap with salad and seitan, banana bread, toffee bar, and ice cream. I thought there would be many more options based upon the signs at the entrance which mentions focaccia, panini, wraps, etc. But I was too hungry to go somewhere else.

This spot seems to be somewhat of a permanent pop-up, if such a thing exists, in an interesting, multi-purpose building. We went on a Friday afternoon and there was a limited menu that day, just wraps, which I normally don’t like but this wrap was grilled and delicious! The woman who served us was super nice. She said she and her daughter own the business. Wish we’d had time to eat there again during our visit. Next time.

Only 1 type on offer- had spinach, rocket, seitan-type filling-really delicious. Plus cakes. Lovely lady who runs the place explained that the building was bought by a medical couple and they run a clinic from there separate from the café end-lovely terrace and selection of beautifully furnished rooms including one like an old traditional library-very unexpected! if wanting to eat there.

This place seems to be something of a permanent pop-up when such a thing exists in an interesting multi-purpose building. We went on a Friday afternoon and there was a limited menu this day, only packs I usually don't like, but this pack was grilled and delicious! The woman who served us was super nice. She said she and her daughter own the business. I wish we had time to eat there again during our visit. Next time.
