The food is incredible, with a great variety to suit any taste. The rooms are lovely, cosy and comfortable with plenty of space for the dog too. Malham itself is a beautiful village with incredible walks. A perfect, peaceful break!

We had booked and our... read more Our second visit here was unfortunately very disappointing food-wise. It’s a 2.5hour round trip to visit, and ordered from the lunch menu. We had booked and our booking was confused with someone else’s, so they thought we were having afternoon tea. I ordered the black bean enchiladas, and unfortunately it arrived with brown guacamole, and was absolutely overwhelming filled with rice (only saw a handful of actual black beans! . Enchiladas don’t have rice in them, nor does their menu specify this. Very bland and flavourless. I complained and was told as I had already eaten some of it that I could pick ONE of the small plates instead. I said enchiladas don’t have rice in them (that’s a burrito and it mentions nowhere in the description about rice, so feel I should have been allowed to pick a new lunch entirely. My husband ordered the banana blossom ‘fish’ and his was better, though still pretty flavourless. We’re a vegan family and I’m so disappointed with the food. Vegan food can be amazing, and what we were given was not represented at all by the price. The setting is lovely and my 3 year old enjoyed his food and exploring the garden. The food came out quickly after ordering, but I would have preferred it took twice as long and received what was actually described on the menu. Maybe we’ll be back again, but we’ve been really put off by this (expensive visit.

Just a wonderful place to spend a sorry stay with amazing vegan food and great staff. Rooms can be slightly small but there's plenty of outdoor space to sit and enjoy a well earned pint after a walk. Breakfast is incredible were skipped lunch both days were were there.

What an amazing place I loved that it was all plant based and there were some amazing hearty food options and great drinks, and friendly staff one particularly... read more What an amazing place I loved that it was all plant based and there were some amazing hearty food options and great drinks, and friendly staff one particularly happy and helpful young man called Wade, who made everyone feel even more enthusiastic about being in the picturesque Yorkshire dales. It was so amazing that we could walk to some stunning places, Malham Cove and Gordale Scar were my favourites
