If I could give zero stars, I would. The food was absolutely terrible. The only thing that was somewhat edible was the shrimp tempura roll, but it still wasn't good. The soft shell crab was dirty and had an odd mustard yellow color, and it tasted awful. The takoyaki was raw in the middle, the fried ice cream tasted like the soft shell crab, the dumplings tasted like they were store-bought, and the squid was tough and... View all feedback.
This place does not disappoint! I've ordered takeout from here on a few occasions most recently today and each time they've exceeded my expectations. My order is always ready long before the estimated pick up time, and the food is always so fresh! I highly favor the vegetable spring roll and Osaka Special Maki Roll. I think the next time around, I may try to dine in there's always a cool little vibe in there when I go in for pick up. Sorry, but the food didn't survive a photoshoot.?Update: So I finally dined in last night, and they still did not disappoint! Food was A1 as always. The mai tais were really good too. I enjoyed talking to the bartender, Annie. She was super sweet and very attentive. I have eaten at/ ordered sushi from every place in Malden, and this place arguably the best! I'll be back soon!
The best Japanese food in Boston! The chicken katsu is incredibly tasty, the sushi is amazing, and the chicken scallion yakitori is fantastic. The food is all top-notch and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly, I highly recommend this place!

I came by to try this place out and the sushi I had the yokohama and my oh my it was good. It was tenderly. Service was a quick smooth experience since I came in when it wasn't busy. ?
