C'est bien la première fois que l'on me propose de goûter le vin, de manière à le choisir en fonction de son gout pour le boire à la finale, au verre.Sinon super repas avec une petite anecdote concernant notre plat principal...à savoir que la cancoillotte servie n'était pas chaude, mais sans importance (le chef devait être débordé en cuisine).C'est vrai il y avait du monde...mais sinon que c'est bon !!!

It did... read more We were aware of this restaurant through a Rick Stein program on the BBC, and when we spent a week in the Jurassic, we used the opportunity to eat there. It didn't disappoint! The food is tasty and very cheap. The staff is also friendly and very obligated (we could not decide which cake to have, so they offered us 'two half slices' instead of price for one and both were beautiful. We will definitely return when we are in the area.

I was warmly accepted (wh... read more Well, of course I saw Rick Stein cheese here and I thought you had to young man. I booked the hotel and drove from Italy to try this.. I was warmly accepted (which is rare when it is a table for... one). I ordered the local Chardonnay white 'Arbois ' and began to smile on the menu of cheese (i.e. I mentioned it was cheese). I started with an abbey of cheese and ham. Then I went to the Saucisse de Morteau, Cancoillotte. Dive sausage in cheese should be a national Pastime. I saw a plate that handed me over to another table and heard the words Escargots... I immediately decided that I could buy new shirts tomorrow and went for it as glorious.. I fought now, but I thought about a penny. I wondered if there was a local dessert. The answer was, of course, yes. I sighed and gave all hope to any clothes that fit me. A fluffy cheese cake appeared with a berry-comonate. All in all, I didn't have the energy to try all the cheese, but I wish I had. A residual araunt from the beaten track, but it is worth it.
