The setting was very pleasant, a... read more What a pleasant surprise we had the 70 Euro 5 course menu for a special occasion (normal set menu 38E) and we were bowled over. The setting was very pleasant, about 1 hour from Geneva across the Jura mountains and by the lovely Lac...de Joux. The reception and dining room were most enjoyable, and the fresh food, all sourced locally, and excellent wines made this a really 'must come again soon ' experience. Merci to all. We didn 't stay at the hotel, but visited the bedrooms for another occasion (shown around by Madame Faivre/co owner). Some of the rooms at the front are a little dated, by they have very nice Junior suites at the back, very reasonably priced.

Une cuisine inventive, superbe, avec des vins locaux de grande classe. Un dîner absolument parfait. En outre l'accueil souriant et sympathique renforce la note maximale bien méritée.

Cuisine basée sur des produits régionaux bien travaillés, cuisson juste, saveurs inédites et originales. Une cave riche en particulier en vins du jura. Un excellent moment pour les papilles.
