Old Street - Malahide

This place is exemplary. The food, service and ambiance are second to none. The building and fit out are worth a visit alone. Every detail is considered and impressive, from the glassware to Thomas Crapper toilets! The staff are professional and friendly. The food is sophisticated and delicious. I can’t wait to go back.

I've been to Old Street a number of times now and it does not disappoint. Really good choice on the menu. Taste and flavours beautiful. Presentation 1st class. Just had the Sunday lunch this weekend and it was terific. The owner found out that my son had brought me for my birthday and she went out of her way to make it a very special day. Staff lovely too.

Had a great birthday lunch here with Suz and Baby Lyla. Helpful staff. It's a special place, unlike anywhere in dublin, not just malahide. Good standards and food has a contemporary twist. Thanks for a lovely day. Food, drinks and birthday desert us over!

Perfect. Lovely atmosphere and experience. Helpful attentive staff. My husband and I had a lovely pre baby meal tonight. We both enjoyed our choices of starters of Smoked Haddock Croquettes, Scallion Mayonnaise and a Jersey Royal Potato, Lamb Dripping, Sugar Snap Pea, Coolatin Cheddar, Salsa Verde. For mains,like others, I'd recommend the delicious Spiced Lamb Shoulder, Courgette, Pistachio Yogurt, Mint Preserved Lemon, Fried Polenta (side fries not needed really) and my husband had Skeaghanore Duck Breast, Smoked Black Pudding, Celery, Apple, Baby Turnip, Hazelnut, (fries may be needed here) which he said was delicious also. For dessert I loved the Apple Crumble, Pistachio Sphere, Pistachio Creme, Salted Caramel Ice Cream and the Old Street Cinema” Caramel Cremeux, Candied Popcorn, Cola Jelly, Mixed Nut Crumble, Vanilla Ice Cream is a fun flavoursome dessert. Yummy. Can't wait to return.
