There are lots of restaurants in this city. Despite all its positive reviews, we think lots are better. We chose gazpacho to start and seafood paella for a main dish. The gazpacho had the oddest texture we have ever encountered and the paella was tepid, had one decent king prawn and very little monkfish, so very disappointing considering the reviews this rstaurant seems to gain. Not cheap either, with quite a makup on mediocre wine. When the competition is so strong, why does a restaurant not pay more attention to its food?

We visited this restaurant last night (16/10/17) arriving at 8pm. There were about 6 tables occupied outside, but inside was empty. The service was poor and it was some time before we were served. It took two hours to complete two courses. The food was okay, but best described as bland. When the bill came for 86 euros, I gave the waiter my credit card to pay the bill. He told us that the card machine was broken and had been for the last seven days??? He could only accept cash. This should have been mentioned at the start. It is obvious that the restaurant has some problems. The waiter told us to go to a cash machine if necessary to pay for the bill. There were no apologies. Fortunately we had enough cash to pay, it it was all a very unpleasant experience. Avoid.

Wonderful fish cooked to perfection with spicy new potatoes and miniature vegetables. It was the perfect size for lunch, the staff were helpful with my “pigeon Spanish” just needed to smile a little more. Hope this helps.

The service was impeccable and after we ordered our tapas, which were all very delicious we were treated to small glasses of the typical Vino Dulce of Malaga. The Jamon Iberico was just perfect. The fish dishes fresh and beautifully served. What a joy of a restaurant.

It was our first night in Malaga and we just happened to find this restaurant. The food was fantastic. We both opted for fish dishes and they were delicious. Staff were professional l, friendly and really attentive. A wonderful evening for our first dining experience in the city and the prices were very reasonable.
