After a busy couple of weeks of work, we thought we would end the week with a party of a sort. We were a group of 40+ and this place had the space for far more, but on arrival we were seated in groups of 10 on long table. We were a mix of families and singles, so my experience may not be the one the families had. We had preordered our food and I was having a potato soup, followed by salmon with fresh vegetables and finally some dessert, which in the end I did not stay for. The service was slow and most people had eaten the bread roll, far before the starters arrived. This may in part be down to the fact that we only had one waiter serving everyone, plus the speed of the cooks. The soup did arrive warm, but was more of a stew than a soup, which is typical in Spain, though this soup was far to over powered by the pepper taste. This did nothing for my stomach, which it did not agree with. Much later my main course arrived. Far from fresh vegetables these were frozen veg and tasted it. Then my salmon, which was a rather thin slice was over cooked and very crisp on the edges. I could not eat it at all and when trying to get the attention of the waiter was impossible, due to him needing to serve everyone, I just sat back and talked with friends and did not stay much longer. As I said in my title this place seams to cater more for families with a soft play area to enjoy. This is on the outside of the restaurant and was not in direct sight of where we where seated. Parking is also an issue I feel, we parked on the main road outside, though they say they have parking available, the gate was closed and locked when we arrived.
