Good find. Heard some local raving about this place when I was out to dinner one night at another restaurant, saying how nobody knew about it. Went tonight and was thoroughly impressed. Had delicious starter of tempura prawns really fresh prawns, great batter, nice dipping sauce. Main had pork belly, crackling could have been better, but the meat itself and sides were delicious. Mrs had barramundi and was also very h... View all feedback.
What Boyd Hickle doesn't like about Bay Window:
eating was common, if not mediocre, to exorbitant preisen. we ordered a good-donesian steak, but it was still inadequately cooked, still red on the inside, and fish and chips, the stock standard was and fried frozen fish from these boxes instead of fried frozen fish that they get on a good fish and chipper. the service was bad, with the staff incredibly inattentive and unstoppable, and the ambiente was surprised by t... I also tried the tomato gnocchi, the Thai green curry, and the chorizo rigatoni. The gnocchi was light and soft, with a pleasant taste, while the Thai green curry was quite average—bland and tasted mostly like coconut rice without any paste. The rigatoni had delicate, juicy shrimp and a lovely sauce. Overall, the prices and ambiance made up for the minor food shortcomings, and I noticed most other diners were satisfied with their meals.
I consistently enjoy the food here and often come for dinner with my children, as well as for adult-only dinners and various functions or parties. The food is always spot-on, and the service is consistently excellent. This place is definitely a favorite of mine.
I had a fantastic dining experience! On Saturday, August 26, 2017, I treated some friends from Canada to dinner, and they were particularly fond of the steak, which is well-known and comes from Alberta. It did not disappoint at all! The main courses were served promptly and were all outstanding. There were four tables of eight behind us, and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals. The prices were reasonable as well! The view of the Malabar beach was stunning and added to the ambiance. I will definitely return! - Sandy Campbell
Eating was common, if not mediocre, to exorbitant preisen. we ordered a good-donesian steak, but it was still inadequately cooked, still red on the inside, and fish and chips, the stock standard was and fried frozen fish from these boxes instead of fried frozen fish that they get on a good fish and chipper. the service was bad, with the staff incredibly inattentive and unstoppable, and the ambiente was surprised by the boistery of some of the diners and some of the diners who obviously had not received the message about changes of smoking in or near eating areas. However, it was hearty to see that the personal was actually trying to call someone to smoke. all in all, we would not recommend it at the randwick golf club. however, the place is probably a great place for native if no other, cheaper and better options are available.
Great local club Menu has a great variety- and the monthly changing specials are always amazing. The dining area is also kid friendly really accommodating
