Great food and views with extensive menu and special lunchtime set menus ..reasonably priced and good service
Always happy with food and service, enjoy the beachside location! Friendly staff, ample parking and coastal walk.
The menu has been very standard for the last few years interspersed with a special menu.Tonight there were mussels on the menu as a starter. My brother and I had these as a main course.Small servings with a lot of empty shells or unopened mussels. My serving was over cooked and the sauce/juice was dark brown-my companion's sauce was a light green colour but he said it tasted nice.Mussels were. A nice addition to the menu which has changed very little over the last few years- even the specials repeat with regularityStill a good venue for a feed and bar prices are also good
I have visited this restaurant many times for dinner with both kids and adults, as well as for functions and parties. The food is consistently delicious and the service is always excellent. It's definitely one of my favorite places!
The Golf Club is a wonderful venue with stunning sea views. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made for great conversation. The prices for alcoholic drinks and food were quite reasonable. While the food was good, it didn’t quite reach the level of amazing. I ordered the lamb shank with red wine sauce, mashed potatoes, and vegetables from the specials board. The meat was tender, the mash was smooth, but the sauce lacked flavor, yet I still enjoyed my meal. I also had the chance to try the tomato gnocchi, Thai green curry, and prawn and chorizo rigatoni. To summarize, the gnocchi was light, soft, and packed with flavor, while the Thai green curry was quite ordinary and tasted mostly of coconut rice without much complexity. The rigatoni featured tender, juicy prawns paired with a delightful sauce. Overall, the reasonable prices and pleasant atmosphere outweigh the minor shortcomings of the food. Most of my dining companions were pleased with their meals as well.
