Makawao Garden Cafe

Yummy eating with beautiful owner and beautiful location and one of the best made self kombuchas I had ever. also the vegan flower packaging was delicious!

I had read about this place on happycow and decided to give him an attempt. wash here in December 2012, and here is my makawao garden cafe review. it is more casual place in the city center with only outside seat under sun umbrellas. the menu will be displayed at the front so that you can see what is offered. the owner, kathi, was there to welcome us and tell us that she could absorb vegans from omitting milk. the day soup was a kokosthaisuppe, and that was in order. the quinoa and auberginensalat is eaten in a vinagrette dress, and that was quite good-very delicate aubergine. they can also obtain a grilled aubergine sandwich. the foccacia bread used for sandwiches is vegan and absolutely delicious. they don't sell them here, except for the order. the ambiente is relaxed and edgy is fundamental. prices are cheap.

I highly recommend the eggplant sandwich at this restaurant. It was delicious and exceeded my expectations. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a top rating of 5.

We had a wonderful meal at a charming little spot in Makawao. My wife enjoyed the chicken curry salad while I had the sliced Turkey sandwich. Both dishes were incredibly delicious and packed with homemade flavor. The curry, Caesar dressing, balsamic vinaigrette, and sesame ginger flavors were all exceptional. The owner, who has been serving customers with her daughter for the past 30 years, was incredibly sweet. My wife even said she would eat here every day if she could. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience.

Super cute location at a hut-like outdoor restaurant. The tables were surrounded by adorable plants and our waitress Kama was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. The service was quick as well. Though the menu is a little small, the food is good price and tastes delicious. Great option for healthy and affordable food in Makawao.
