We ordered the Hainanese Chicken Curry Noodles and Hainanese Chicken Platter for 2. The chicken was good but we got a little disappointed with the serving portion. Not really a fan of this chicken and I really can't compare it with the one I tasted in SG. I love the dipping and ginger sauce that comes with it tho. What I loved the most tho was their laksa chicken! The soup was so creamy and yummy! It's not too spicy... View all feedback.
What Estel Nitzsche doesn't like about Wee Nam Kee:
Avid fans of authentic Hainanese chicken rice would know Wee Nam Kee. They recently released a new set of mouth-watering dishes. The interiors of the restaurant is modern vintage, the brick wall with those frames made the ambiance very vintage. And with the wooden tables and chairs for casual dining made it cozy and modern looking interior. View all feedback.
Visited Wee Nam Kee for a quick weekday lunch and loved the food! Would have rated 4 but service was slow and the place was quite hot despite the aircon. Ordered Hainanese Chicken Rice Personal Set @ Php 199. It was served with soup and being one of their signature dishes, will highly recommend it. Also tried to eat healthy by ordering Veggies ???? - Spinach (served with one Century Egg @ Php 260). It was good for sharing with 3-4 people. Overall, reasonably priced, delish food.
Ordered: Mantou bread - this is my favorite place for mantou bread. Just wish it was bigger. Corn soup - it's okay. Had blobs of oil on the top when it was served. Ceral prawns - wish the shrimp was bigger. It was finished in 4 bites and left me hungry still. Steamed dory - tastes plain and clean, just the way I like it. Comes with tofu underneath. Order this if you're being health conscious.

What I loved the most tho was their laksa chicken! The soup was so creamy and yummy! It's not too spicy and you can still adjust it with their available chili. It's advisable that you get the noodles separately on your bowl before you pour the soup from their serving kettle. The noodles have the tendency to get soggy. It was lunchtime so the place is quite packed with office workers. Service is ok so far.
One of the best sweet and sour pork that I ate. The sauce was delicious. The pork was tender and lean. No fat. They served us complimentary soup.
Wee Nam Kee is truly a Singaporean delight! You must be here before lunch time, it's always jam packed but surely it's worth the wait. Trivia: We Nam Kee is everyone's favorite chicken rice place in SG! ????
