Salted caramel will always be my fave here! Quite pricey for a cupcake, but I wouldn't think twice buying my favorite. ???? everything in that place is pretty!! Really nice place to catch up with friends or just have sweet moments with someone lol ???? View all feedback.
What Aidan Pollich doesn't like about Vanilla Cupcake Bakery:
I'm basically really into sweets. I like the cupcakes here. I like the presentation. The design of each cupcake. The place looks expensive too. It's been a while since my last purchase here , so hopefully soon! View all feedback.
We don't really need to buy cupcakes since my Mom and I loves to bake. But it's just hard not to notice Vanilla Cupcake Bakery's doll house-like shop with lots of good looking cupcakes. From chandeliers, to dainty chairs down to their eye-candy pink mixers, Cath Kidston cutleries and pink fridge, I was sold. ???? We both ordered milkshakes and two cupcakes, Red Velvet and Salted Caramel. I bake red velvet a lot and for me, their red velvet needs extra moist (or maybe we just got some old batch ????). Just by looking how the frosting was slightly yellowish means there's too much sugar or butter. Creamcheese frosting should look clean white in color like they should see Laura Vitale. Salted Caramel didn't do much impact on me. But anyways, their red velvet is better than Sonja's. I also ordered Caramelized Spam with Rice and Egg for my boyfriend which is a big regret and dissatisfaction! The spam they caramelized eventually became so hard and got stuck to the plate. Luckily milkshakes tastes okay and looks cute in mason jars too. Late post

Note: late review The usage of dollhouse-like interior is common for cupcake joints. Sonja started it all, the cutey-patotee joint in Serendra. Then along came Vanilla Cupcake Bakery. The place is too cute, it makes patrons overstay, take a shitload of self-admiration photos and drain smartphone juice. The barbie dreamhouse like joint has the best chairs I've ever seen. The sitting furniture looks mighty expensive and bought from a European country. For those who has visited Heima, you get the drift, yeah? Personally speaking, i visit Vanilla not for their cupcakes, i lounge around and gawk at the chairs. I should start a mutual chair admiration group. ☺ On to the miniature cakes. Cupcakes are generally pretty in appearance. The colorful frosting on top with different designs. Vanilla is no exception. I've been to Vanilla a couple of times, my experience with their cupcakes varies. Some left an impression, others were a tad disappointing. The texture of the pastry is not consistent, hit or miss. On good days, you get a flavorful and moist cupcake. On bad days, you get the bad batch. Dry and unappetizing. One branch has roaches crawling on the sidelines (good thing, they ceased operations in this location - this is the one near Food Choices). When I'm in doubt of what kind of cupcake to order, my default is always the red velvet. Their red velvet is okay, not remarkable. Cream cheese frosting on top of dark red pastry. Vanilla nailed the frosting, tangy goes well with the red velvet crumb. As for the actual pastry, hit or miss. I still think that Sonja's has the best red velvet.
