Our Operations Manager had been very generous and treat us here so yey free lunch again plus this is an amazing place for maki and tempura so I really had a great time. I really love the Ebi Chizu Tempura and Tori Karaage. But what I love the most was the Firecracker Crisp, fried maki balls which is filled with spicy tuna that taste soooooo good. View all feedback.
What John Doe doesn't like about Tempura Japanese Grill:
Over the past month, I have eaten here about two times due to the convenience of its location for a friend and myself. Before that though, this chain has never actually ever peaked my interest enough to actually want to go in and try it. While we came up with a friend, we decided to come to lunch here. it was my first time to eat in tempura, so I don't know what to order, and I just tried something with teriyaki on the name. I think that was a chicken teriyaki bow, and my friend order some California-Maki (if I don't mistake, or another type of sushi/sashimi). their dishes are expensive (but I think reasonable as there is a Japanese restaurant) and if they are a picky eater (like me,) they will end up giving the kani with mango salad etc. to her friend hoping to try more of her dressed.
This deserves a 2.0 we have eaten everything they can promote and be honest, it was bad. eating was not hot. you can say that it was not freshly cooked. it was a bad experience. the egg tastes different. the rice has another taste. overall the experience was not good.
To lunch we decided to go Japanese. the tempura Japanese grill is located in ayala, makati, really fights for its brand, as it is located in a busy street of makati with many famous restaurants next to it. I could say they're making a fair fight. I love how they cooked tempura to cripple. batter was light and airy. tonkatsu with cauliflower salad the baked pork was roasted to golden brown. it was tender and the sauce there was more taste. I enjoy this dish yakisoba general amount of vegetables, pork and seafood all in one dish. it was delicious, but I find this court too oily. honey miso glazed salmon of fresh and juicy salmon with sweet honey...read more
While waiting for me to be in the row where the doctor took part in a nearby hospital, my mother and I decided to have a supposedly light snack first. we had a meal that I was sick at the time, so I was not ready to be adventurous with my food, so I stayed with the classmates. I ordered her kani salad, katsudon and cucumber mint shake the kani salad’s dressing tasted a lot like eggs that was first delicious, but too overwhelming was due to the time I ended it. the katsudon was however delicicious. they also serve it in huge portions, so I think it is worth it. the cucumber-minute shake was meh for the place was the place clean and comfortable near offices...read more

Before that though, this chain has never actually ever peaked my interest enough to actually want to go in and try it. What I learned is that what you see is what you get a no-frills Japanese restaurant Appearance-wise, the booths, tables and chairs are situated in order to optimize the space completely. The air conditioning could be better and I've noticed that they even have a mobile unit for a corner that is probably warmer than the rest of the place Service-wise, I have to say quite frankly is disappointing. From both times I have dined here, the place has only...read more
